Our little croft shop is tucked away in Walls, on the Westside of the Shetland Mainland.

Our Croft Shop

Our shop is tucked inside our old croft cottage here on the Westside of Shetland. Come in for a browse and discover our wool and fibre, craft supplies, gifts and pieces from local makers.

You might even spot a few members of the flock while you're here.

Our opening hours can occasionally change due to group visits, vet appointments and the realities of croft life, so please check our social media before making a special journey.

You'll know you're here when you spot The Silly Sheep Fibre Company sign.

Visiting by bus?

We're on the Number 9 bus route from Lerwick. Ask the driver and they can drop you at our gate.

For your journey back to Lerwick, you can wait at our gate and signal for the bus to stop, or take a short walk down into the village and catch it there.

While you're in Walls, you'll also find the village shop and The Woolly Wyvern close to the bus stop and picturesque harbour.

The Shop

Our shop is located in our old croft cottage and is all on one level. Please be aware that the doorway may not be wide enough for all wheelchairs.

The Classroom

Our classroom can be found inside our static caravan and is accessed by four small steps.

The Grounds

There are no steps around our grounds. The paths are gently sloping and tarred.
